New year. New progress.

14 January, 2023

We had our first Trustees meeting of the year on Friday, 13th January. The Trustees meet every three months to ensure the Pearce Foundation is being well run, delivers good governance and is pursuing its objectives as effectively as possible. They provide a valuable bird's-eye perspective on all aspects of the Foundation from strategy and development to finance and administration. Time was spent looking over the applications for potential Charity Partners and decisions made as to which charities to invite in February for the next stage of the recruitment process. Huge thank you to Charlotte Moroney, Janice Taylor, Jane Waller and Jane Robbie for their time, wisdom and expertise.

Fabulous meeting yesterday with all the trustees. I am excited to see what we can achieve as a team.
— Janice Taylor, Trustee

What’s more, last week we also had a review of our social media strategy and communications plan, with a focus on our journey so far and our future plans. We aim to use our socials to build more robust and effective connections to further our vision of helping fledgling charities in Sussex realise their true potential.
