Selection and Onboarding of Pearce Foundation’s 2025 Charity Partners

We’re thrilled to welcome five incredible charities as our 2025 grant partners. Over three inspiring days of onboarding, we had the privilege of getting to know the passionate founders behind each organisation, learning more about their work and how we can support them in the year ahead.

Day One: A Warm Welcome to Flourish Mentors and Apron Creative

We kicked off our onboarding process with Flourish Mentors and Apron Creative.

Flourish Mentors was our very first pilot charity, and we’re delighted to continue our journey together. Their mission is to ensure no young woman feels invisible by offering mentoring, well-being support, and workshops that help them build confidence and navigate life’s challenges. As they take the next step in their growth, we’re excited to stand by them.

Apron Creative is new to the Pearce Foundation this year, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them. Their Community Garden brings people together through art, craft, and nature-based workshops, alongside a programme of inspiring community events. With a new community farm project on the horizon, there’s so much potential to make a difference together.

Day Two: Connecting with Kitchen Sessions and Eastbourne Trampoline

The second day of onboarding introduced us to two fantastic organisations using food and movement to build stronger, healthier communities.

Kitchen Sessions creates ‘community casseroles’—therapeutic cookery workshops designed to bring people together across generations and backgrounds. Their founder’s passion for using food as a tool for connection and well-being was evident, and we can’t wait to see how our partnership will help them expand their reach.

Eastbourne Trampoline is dedicated to making trampolining accessible, fun, and safe for all. With a strong ethos of community over competition, they encourage people to get active while supporting both physical and mental well-being. Their founder’s enthusiasm is contagious, and we’re excited to see how they continue to grow.

Day Three: Wrapping Up with Head to the Sky

On the final day, we had the pleasure of meeting Jenny Linton, founder of Head to the Sky, an organisation empowering young people through filmmaking.

Head to the Sky helps young people explore their own stories, culture, and heritage through after-school filmmaking workshops. From learning how to craft a narrative to developing practical camera and interview skills, participants gain confidence while broadening their perspectives. After a successful pilot in Chichester, Jenny is now expanding the project to schools in Brighton & Hove, and we’re excited to support her as she takes this next step.

Looking Ahead

Each of these organisations brings something unique to their communities, and we’re honoured to support them on their journey in 2025. Their passion and dedication are truly inspiring, and we look forward to working alongside them
