How our ‘more than money’ model adds real value

Charity Partner awarded £15,000 grant!

We are delighted that our Charity Partner, Wellbody Wellmind Wellbeing have been awarded a £15,000 grant from the National Lottery! The Founders, Nicole and Maria, have been working closely with our fundraising skill-sharer Rich James, who has been fundamental in helping them develop their fundraising skills and craft a successful application. We are thrilled that our model of providing bespoke support has helped reap such tangible results!

Our ‘more than money’ approach

In keeping with our approach of providing more than monetary support to our Charity Partners, Nicole and Maria received several fundraising skill-sharing sessions to develop their grant application skills —vital for any organisation seeking to secure funding. They also now have the knowledge, skills and confidence to go on and apply for future funding with alternative funders.

Our goal is to equip our partners with the confidence and tools they need to succeed long-term, ensuring they can continue their important work well into the future
— Jane Robbie, Founder - The Pearce Foundation

In addition to grant writing support, we facilitated sessions on SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and DISC profiling for the founders. These sessions are integral to our wrap-around support, aimed at fostering robust organisational growth and personal development.

The SWOT analysis sessions provided the founders with a clear understanding of their internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. This strategic tool is crucial for planning and decision-making, helping organisations like Wellbody Wellmind Wellbeing navigate challenges and leverage opportunities effectively.

The DISC profiling sessions focused on understanding the founders' personality styles, enhancing their teamwork and leadership capabilities. By gaining insights into their own and each other's communication preferences and behavioral tendencies, the founders can work more cohesively and efficiently.

Today has given us clarity about what’s next. We now have a framework we’re working in and a structure we’re working towards. Time with Jane and Rich as our enablers and mentors has been so supportive. Working with the Pearce Foundation has been life-enhancing and life-changing
